When it came to fitting out their Australian offices at Mulgrave (Victoria) in a modern Scandinavian style, the natural choice was for a clean, pale timber. Enter Britton Timbers in partnership with Melbourne’s Affordable Fitouts.

American Ash is available from Britton Timbers in a range of thicknesses and is renowned for its crisp, white good-looks and prominent grain. It’s easily machined, relatively hard, and low in defect – lending its use to great effect in cabinetry, joinery, furniture and commercial fit outs. In the case of Thorn AFL, the ‘workability’ of American Ash was a definite advantage where curved partitioning was specified.
