Britton Timbers International
Britton Timbers International (BTI) is based in Australia and imports and exports specialty timbers worldwide.
Now Australia's largest importer of quality hardwoods from the U.S.A. and Europe, BTI also supplies international customers with premium PEFC certified Australian species such as Tasmanian Oak, Tasmanian Blackwood and Tasmanian Myrtle, as well as Western Australian timbers Jarrah and Karri. Products such as the Cambia range of thermally-modified products are also being exported in growing volumes.
BTI is structured to meet the increasing world-wide demand for its timbers. Part of the Britton Timbers Group, BTI’s Tasmanian species are processed at Britton’s state-of-the-art Tasmanian mill.
BTI’s timbers are sourced from suppliers who identify environmental sustainability as a principle factor in any current or future operations in the forest products industry. BTI is Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC-C113479) and PEFC Chain of Custody certified for its range of import and export timbers. Britton Timbers International sources all of its Tasmanian timber from the sustainably-managed and PEFC certified temperate forests of the north-west region of Tasmania.
