Environmental statement
Britton Timbers sources all its timber from sustainably managed temperate forests of North
West Tasmania. Sustainability is achieved through compliance with the Forest Practices Code and Regional Forest Agreement.
It is envisaged this forest management will be certified under the Australian Forestry Standard, which is being developed
within the recognised international frameworks of the Montreal process criteria and indicators, and the ISO 14000 series.
The sustainability of our forests will enable future generations to enjoy the magnificent native timbers in perpetuity.
